There is still time to be a Respiratory Infections Community Champion (RICC)
There is still time for you to be a RICC! As a Community Champion, you will help provide information to families and your community around bronchiolitis and other respiratory infections. Around 1 in 3 children will develop bronchiolitis before their first birthday and as a Community Champion, you will help us to reach more people including parents with children with the latest facts about respiratory infections.
If you are a paid member of staff, a volunteer, working in a community group, school, or community centre, or a student studying health and social care and you are passionate about your community, then you can sign up to be a RICC. A couple of hours of week will make a difference but you can do as much or as little as you want. Full training and support including materials will be provided. All we need is an hour of your time and we will take you through the next steps.
If you would like an informal chat first, please do contact us on 01524 555900 or email [email protected]
You can also visit our volunteer website to find out more and sign up. We look forward to hearing from you.
