Membership Benefits

Any voluntary, community, faith or social enterprise (VCFSE) group or organisation based in the Lancaster district is eligible for full membership of Lancaster District CVS. Organisations that don’t fit this criteria and consultants working commercially within the sector are eligible for associate membership.

Lancaster District CVS membership is free.  By joining our network, you’ll be part of a committed community of grassroots organisations changing the lives of local people.

Email Bulletin

We email you a weekly bulletin with the latest news on funding, training, jobs and events, making sure you know what’s going on in the district and can get involved with things that are relevant to your organisation.

Feedback and Opinions

You’ll get a voice in how we operate. Lancaster District CVS welcomes the feedback and opinions of our membership, helping us to become a stronger and more relevant organisation.

Network, Training and Information Events

Our events connect members with key anchor institutions such as the University, NHS, local government and police, ensuring that the VCFSE sector is kept informed and has the opportunity to make community voices heard.

Relationship and Partners

Our knowledge and connections will help you build your relationships with new partners, critical for your organisational development.  We don’t hold on to our knowledge, we share it with our members.

Promote Volunteering Opportunities

We’ll promote your volunteering opportunities and help you develop policies and practices.

Access Information

You can access our information and support on fundraising, governance, policies & procedures, DBS checks, business planning, marketing, and organisational health.

Access Paid-for Services

You can access our paid-for services such as payroll, book-keeping and independent examinations, as well as reduced rates on photocopying, equipment hire and training courses.

Apply For Grants and Attend Events

You can apply for our grants and attend all our events.
