Homes for Ukraine Scheme

UK individuals, charities, community groups and businesses can now record their interest in supporting Ukrainians fleeing the war through the government’s new Homes for Ukraine scheme. This scheme will allow individuals, charities, community groups and businesses in the UK to bring Ukrainians to safety – including those with no family ties to the UK.
A website was launched on the 14th March 2022 for sponsors to record their interest, ahead of Phase One of the scheme opening for applications on Friday 18th March (Phase One of the scheme will allow sponsors in the UK to nominate a named Ukrainian or a named Ukrainian family to stay with them in their home or separate property).

The Government are advising that:
• before recording an offer of support, that anyone with an interest, reads the Frequently Asked Questions page before they register;
• and that they will keep in touch with updates as the scheme opens.
