Meet Your New Volunteers (October)
Cade is a young man in Morecambe looking to get into landscape gardening. Of course we know all about the various Friends of Groups, as well as a few other initiatives such as Claver Hill, but if you think you might have something that would appeal to Cade, let us know.
Robert is another chap in the Morecambe area hoping to find something in a warehouse-type setting. It’s what he’s done before and he’s seeking work in this kind of area and wants something recent for his CV. Get in touch if you have some stores/heavy lifting/sorting type volunteering that needs support!
We have a few people this month looking for administrative/office volunteering roles, ideally not home-based or remote working. Caleb is doing lots of training in admin but needs somewhere to put his newly learned skills into practice. And David has past experience but nothing recent, so he’s looking to refresh his skills. If you can help, let us know.
Schools now and Karen in Morecambe has training as a teaching assistant but no relevant experience – she’s hoping to gain some! She wants to specialise in neuro-divergence. If you have a need for Karen’s kind of skills and enthusiasm, get in touch.
Scott has an engineering/mechanical background and is looking for a role he can really focus on and get on with, something practical and hands-on. So if you think you could use Scott’s practical skills and brain, let us know.
