Lancaster District Hardship Fund
Lancaster City Council has set up the Lancaster District Hardship Fund. The scheme is being run in partnership with North Lancashire Citizens Advice and the Lancaster District Food Justice Partnership.
The aim of the fund is to provide longer term support to residents who are struggling financially.
The types of short term support the fund can help with include:
- Utility bills
- Food
- Debts
- Housing costs
- Household appliances
- Other essential items
Applicants will go through an assessment with Citizens Advice who will submit requests to the fund and make recommendations to the Council.
